Arlacel 1690 is versatile, high performance, natural water-in-oil (W/O) polymeric emulsifier based on natural fatty acids and polyols. It is very mild and provides emulsion characteristics with test results showing almost identical formulation stability, viscosity and rheology.

- Easily emulsify a wider range of oils and actives (non-polar to very polar)

- No need for co-emulsifiers

- Provides emulsions with a glossy appearance
- Can incorporate levels of ethanol of 10-15% for after-shave or cooling products, UV filters, vitamins, electrolytes etc
- Based on natural raw materials and EO free
Oxidative Stability
Arlacel 1690 also has improved odor and stability against oxidation due to its saturated nature allowing for more stable formulations.
Formulation Tips
For the production of creams and lotions only 3 to 5% of Arlacel 1690 is required and can allow cold emulsification for a wide variety of oils.
