UVB filter suitable for skin care applications, such as anti-aging face care products, and sunscreens.

• UV absorption range: 290-320 nm
• UV max absorption: 314 nm
• Maximum dose: 5%

Uvinul® T 150 is the most effective oil soluble UVB filter with an exceptionally high absorbance of over 1500 at 314 nm. Because of its high E1/1 value, only small concentrations are required in cosmetic sun-care preparations, to achieve a high SPF value. Uvinul® T 150 is very photostable even it is exposed to intense UV radiation. Uvinul® T 150 is insoluble in water, it should be dissolved in the oil phase with heating. Not approved by FDA.
